  1. Seriously, who is this Trimpe guy?

  2. He's apparently the hottest artist in comics, at the moment.

Also, he drew Wolverine back in the day.

  3. Also, I remember this convention last year -- might have been Baltimore -- where Trimpe was there, and the line was like literally wrapped around the convention hall.

    Who knew?

  5. Sammy,

Bayou is planned to be printed. So is High Noon, I believe. I could be wrong, but I think part of winning the Zuda contest is eventually the content will be collected in print.

I refuse to read Zuda mainly because I hate their reader. I've never understood why DC went from the accepted format of jpegs to a Flash based reader. The fear of people printing the comics from webpages and then not buying them in print form is archaic and unfounded.

I'm going to stop now before this turns into a long rant on mistakes made with Zuda! lol

Kenny, it's HIGH MOON, not HIGH NOON.
But, yup, you are right ... there are print plans for HIGH MOON and once our first story has concluded, I can speak more about it.

I just want to speak about this for a minute - but you CAN print from the ZUDA reader, there is a little print button, next to the full screen button - and it works great.

  8. It's true, you can print them out and put them in these nice plastic sleeves from Staples w/a binder and make a book.

  9. Thank god! I can actually read them, which makes me happy cause from what I've seen they are both totally fucking awesome (the f word is my word of the day!)

so this news makes me very happy, and mr. gallaher, quit canoodling with the lovely lady and get back to work so I can actually read it!

That is an idea. But I am so lazy and would rather the cash monies go to you guys, and I have something to go on the book case.

Man I wanna read Bayou, that teaser ad alone makes me want to read it.

  10. David,

Oops! Dammit! Sorry! Despite my hate for most things Zuda, I actually am truly and genuinely excited for High Moon! I'm sorry for screwing the name up! (I've had this problem with m's and n's all day! I sent an e-mail to someone earlier where I misspelled the word "amalgam" as "aNalgam." lol)

And you can print from Zuda's reader? No way! Then why the Hell did they use a Flash based interface over jpegs???

Anyway, now I'm going to print off High Moon every week and read it that way, but I promise I'm still going to buy the printed edition. I'm a big believer in buying printed editions of work I like!

I forgot to mention. What little I've read of High Moon so far truly is *awesome*! I'm excited about it!

Because Flash is a registered trademark of DC Comics?

I don't have the legitmate answer, so that one will have to do.

I like the viewer, especially in FULL SCREEN mode, but I'm sorry to hear folks are having problems with it.

Thanks for the kind words though :-)
