From "Countdown" #12, we finally have some resolution to "Amazons Attack" --
So don't forget that when you pick up your "Amazons Attack" Hardcovers (volumes one and two) to also buy "Countdown" #12 and place it next to the hardcovers on your shelf (preferably in a bag and board, to keep it sturdy).
Amazons Attack was the best series ever!
ReplyDeletephht..couldn't keep a straight face!
I was reading Countdown despire my reservations... but the way they're wrapping up stories which have unfolded for around 50 issues as fast as possible is REALLY irksome.
ReplyDeleteBut that they would have Amazons Attack... concluded in COundown #50...
(I know I;m not adding anything new to the comment already made, but I'm just floored by the incompetance.)
It's the comic book equivalent of some old person driving 1 mile per hour down the road and then slamming the accelerator to the floor when they get into the parking lot.
ReplyDeletelol.
yet I'm reading it.
At least I skipped about half of the issues...
I still can't get over the fact that the reader is supposed to swallow Granny Goodness defeating the entire Greek Gods Pantheon but fleeing from Hippolyta and her sword.
ReplyDeleteWay to plan things, DC.

ReplyDeleteIts a Vorpal Sword of Geriatric Slaying, +5. You never wonder why you never see any elderly Amazons?

ReplyDeleteLOL!
True, how could I forget?! ;^)
I won't touch countdown with a ten feet pole but... I have a question... is this before Gail Simone run?
