Dark Phoenix Is A Skrull (here we go again)

But c'mon, did we ever really trust Dark Phoenix to begin with? The Skrulliness might be an improvement.

Gotta play the caption game here.

"This is what happens when you leave your avocado mask on for a week."

  3. HAHAHA if she is a Skrull that would RULE. If everyone who "died" was a Skrull & all the retconned deaths were like "dude, Skrulls," that might be hillarious. BEN REILLY SKRULL! YES.

  4. I just hope we see a young avengers skrull promo in the future. Maybe one of them is a skrull.

  5. DAMMIT ALL OF THE TRUST I HAD IN DARK PHOENIX IS TOTALLY UNDER SUSPICION NOW!

Who's next? Dr. Doom? Norman Osborn? WHO ELSE MIGHT HAVE BETRAYED MY TRUST?

    *ahem*

You know... the artwork is mighty fine... however the thought process behind these promos is a tad... well... non-sensical.

    I'm just sayin is all...

  7. Galactus, totally a Skrull.

How powerful are the Skrulls able to mimic? I mean, honestly, if they can mimic the Dark Pheonix, why bother with subtlty and subterfuge, why not just blast all their enemies?

  8. Maybe the Skrulls aren't invading, but immigrating. Could be skrull refugees from the galactic war going on.

Maybe Tony Stark will call for a force field around the planet to keep skrulls from coming to earth and taking all the jobs.

  9. Adam, I was wondering the same thing. If they can mimic Dark Phoenix's power why bother with Elektra?

Oh wait I know, because she has an army of disposable ninjas at her command... gah ninjas!

  10. The Dark Phoenix is also Kate Hudson too, apparently.

  11. NERD-TIME: While Skrulls may now be able to emulate their impostee's powers well enough to fool a casual observer, it doesn't mean they are capable of the same power-levels. See: the Black Bolt Skrull from Illuminati #5.

So sure, there could be a Dark Phoenix Skrull, but most likely it would just fly around and bit and do some firey telekenesis.
