Signs You're Getting Too Into "World War Hulk"

David the G: "You know, Tony doesn't look too happy in those preview pages."

Me: "Well, 'cause when Hulk comes back to Earth he's going to beat the s**t out of him. I hope Hulk beats the s**t out of Iron Man and gives him what-for."

David the G: "And then of course Thor will be coming back and be none-too-pleased."

Me: "Yeah, Thor will be visiting Tony in the hospital after the Hulk gets through with him. I hope he smacks him in the head with that f**king Mee-jonah hammer, smacks him right upside the f**king head."

Pausing for a second. Muttering under my breath,

"That Tony Stark...what a damn poo-poo head."

That pretty much sums up all of "Civil War" --

"TONY STARK = DAMN POO-POO HEAD"

And Reed's not looking that good either.

  1. Interesting take on civil war. Absolutely true. Now I wonder how they can pull the character out of the nosedive they put him in. Seems as though every marvel character this year gets to beat up Tony. I guess they can go back to the well and bring up the alcoholic angle or something. Seems like a good time to take up drinking after Hulk beats your ass into traction. I'm kinda tired of it really...

I can see the next huge event of 2008-Everyone lines up for a seven issue series all revolving around every character including Paste Pot Pete get to walk up and punch Iron Man in the junk. With gratuitus Frank Cho ass shots on every page.

  3. Hey I always like Iron Man. I had about every issue from 1980 to 2000 or so. I quit collecting a few years ago, though. What the hell is going on?

  4. Oddly I'd buy it and every variant there-in. Then in 2009 it's 'Civilworldwarcrisisinfiniumskullfucktonystark' that'll put asses in seats.

Read the Wikipedia on Civil War and its follow-up stuff and you'll see why everyone's excited to see Iron Man get smashed. ^_~
