Kibbles and Bits

"Zuda" spelled backwards is "Aduz."

"You'll put your eye out, Tony!"
(found via Myriad Issues)

This whole "Stan Lee sues Marvel, Stan Lee Media Sues Stan Lee" thing is depressing the hell out of me. What a way to see out a career. Don't you get a grace period after so many years, why is this guy like in his 80s and tied up in litigation? More importantly, does this mean he won't do any more Marvel movie cameos?

Kevin Spacey will once again be taking up the role of Lex Luthor.

He can fit it into his busy schedule after "Fred Claus"

Frank Miller's new "Martha Washington" book from Dark Horse looks good -- and is yet another reason why I think the dude hates mainstream comicbook characters. Compare how well-written the "Martha Washington" series is to
"All-Star Batman." He *respects* the character of Martha. He thinks Superman is a tool, WW a man-hating ho, and Batman a loveable psychopath. But screw it, I respect Martha more than them too.

What happened to Gary Frank on "Hulk"?

The New Gods are apparently "key" in "Countdown."
That's it, I think DC should reprint the 80s "Who's Who" in one "Showcase" telephone-book volume and send it free to readers who send in the clipped-out DC Bullets from the previous 5 issues of "Countdown."

"Bobby The Brain Heenan" will be at Wizard World Chicago. Well that's it, I will simply have to go to that one too now.

I'm really enjoying the Alan David Doane blog.

I'm on Twitter now, and will be getting my new Blackberry Curve today. Between this and co-ordinating my San Diego schedule, I predict: eye strain. But that doesn't mean you can't friend me on Twitter.

    D'oh!

This is all like "Supergirl" but in reverse --

Frank is on "Supergirl". Marvel steals Frank from DC. Leonard Kirk replaces Kirk on the book.

Frank is on "Hulk". DC steals Frank from Marvel. Who do they get to replace him?

    LEONARD KIRK!

it's deja vu all over again, I tells ya
