Shia & Megan are GENIUSES!

Shia LaBeouf explains why he turned down the role of Yorick in the film adaptation of "Y The Last Man":

"You take Sam and you put a monkey on his shoulder," said LaBeouf of Yorick's sidekick Ampersand. "I don't know if it's that big a differential. It seems like he's the ordinary guy in an extraordinary situation again."

So the only difference between "Y, The Last Man On Earth" and his character from "Transformers" is a fricking monkey. Obviously, he's waiting for that big Scorsese role that will finally make the public take him *seriously*.

See, this is why you really should hire someone with at least a rudimentary knowledge of comic books to star in a comic book movie. I mean, you don't *need* to, but it sure helps. It's nice to see Ryan Reynolds be excited to play Deadpool instead of looking "pained" like it's something he's forced to do to pay the bills.

In other news, Shia's "Transformers" co-star Megan Fox continues to expand her list of people she disapproves of: Wonder Woman for being "lame," Scarlett Johansson for showboating her IQ, men in their 20s: "immature," men who come on to her: "retards, ridiculous, pathetic," men in general: "weak puppies," actors: "gross prostitutes," and the "white trash, hillbilly, anti-gay, super bible-beating people in Middle America" (who, according to Fox, are apparently deserving of murder, Megatron-style).

Gosh, is there anything Megan Fox DOES like? Here he is:
That's it.

Y'know, I remember when I watched the behind-the-scenes interview with Kirsten Dunst for Spider-Man (don't remember which one), and, when asked if she read comic books, she basically responded, do I look like I read them? I watched this and never saw it mentioned in print or video elsewhere. In double-checking the quote, I wasn't even able to find

  2. Wow. Two winners there. Ugh. Can they CG the both of them out of Transformers all together?

  3. Good. Give the part to Michael Cera.

And for someone who smokes weed, Megan Fox is awfully hateful. I've never met a pot head that's that mean. But, pfft, maybe everyone in LA is like that.

  4. Dead on! I've disagreed with you before, but I couldn't agree more with you here.

  5. isn't there a quote of Bryan Austin Green BEGGING to be Green Lantern?

  6. Yeah, this is why I love RDJ and dislike Kirsten Dunst and Megan Fox.

Her "lame" comment about Wonder Woman made me laugh because it just sums up why she's about as far from a feminist as any young actress could get. She's the movie equivalent of window dressing.

  8. Green actually did a wonderful job on T:SCC, and seems to be interested in the role for the right reasons. That said, he'd make for a better Guy Gardner than Hal Jordan.

I can see Shia Buff's point. I really can. I think he's wrong, of course, but I can see his point.

Megan "STD Farm" Fox is a f*cking idiot. At first, I just thought she was uninformed and trying to make a name for herself. But now I just think she is a f*cking moron.

"But, pfft, maybe everyone in LA is like that."

No, we just think we need to be clever.

  11. Great post. These two seem about as deep as a puddle. Both of them will be dropped in the box labeled "Forgotten Actors," when they are no longer pretty.

This is also 50% the interviewer's fault. They should just stop asking f*cking questions revolving about the source material/the source material's universe if the actors don't give a frak.

  13. It's getting really tough to defend Megan Fox. And her comments in these interviews seem to get worse. The truth of the matter is that her comments are only slightly less prickly than the zany stuff Jessica Alba and Eva Mendes uttered early in their careers.

And when Angelina Jolie hit the scene she may not have insulted any comics characters that I know of but her behavior sure was peculiar. We forgave it because she proved herself to be a good actress.

Fox sounds like someone in their twenties who may be getting more attention than she can handle.

To Amanda: Every pot head in L.A. is not that mean.

    Whoa, whoa, whoa.

It's one thing to rip on clueless actors, but leave the Muppets out of this.

Except for most of those weak Post-Henson Muppets. And maybe Janice. Her voice really got on my nerves. In fact, you can have most of the Electric Mayhem band. Except for Animal. And maybe Zoot.

What were we talking about again?

    Have a good day.
