Where To Find My "Marvel Age" Pen Pal Listing

Thanks to eagle-eyed Manuel Vargas for spotting this!

My listed comic book faves were "X-Factor, GI Joe, and Spider-Man"

It's weird, because I don't remember being such a huge fan of X-Factor back in 1988, but there you go.

  1. Marvel Age was a great blend of self-promotion and objective, well-researched content. There were some really nifty interviews and articles in that book.

  2. So those pen pals were real? I was never sure.

  3. Honestly, I miss Marvel Age too. Then again, that was during an era when you could actually sell a 32-page-long ad to kids and they would eat it up. And by "they," I mean "me."

I think I remember you showing me & Omar James and somebody else that issue with your listing when we were in Hudde. Good times.

  5. That's very cool. I still have a big pile of Marvel Age. I stopped getting them prior to the time that one came out, I think. I know I liked getting it.

  6. And I don't remember 1988, so there ya have it.

  7. I had a ton of Marvel Age's which I sadly threw away, due to their lack of actual comics. I regret it.
