I like Wizard, but I've never heard of this Comic Foundry. I can't imagine what place sells it because I've never seen it anywhere before. How long has CF been in publication?
And I'd never even heard of it. Wow, you miss a lot when you live abroad. Gain a lot. But also miss a lot. Love their interview/profiles line-up. Jillian Tamaki needs more press coverage love. Grant Morrison needs less, but there ya have it.
My LCS didn't stock it, and it took them several issues of my begging for it for them to be able to get a copy for me, So I have the penultimate issue, and am not sure that I will even see the last one. I thought it was great in places and not great in others.
If not for reading the blogs of people with better stocked stores I would have never heard of it.

I never head of this one either, but you have to love that attitude...

ReplyDeleteAlthough I do support any "suck it, Wizard" commentary, they WERE around for longer than a blip. I'd never heard of this magazine UNTIL it died.
