Wow, that's fantastic. Lynda looks least like herself there, but I'm particularly impressed with how Captain Marvel doesn't look like a total dweeb. Probably because we can't see the rest of his hair.
I am offended by the fact there are NO black people on that cover. Alex Ross is obviously racist. He could have easily used Steel on that cover instead of Superman
But....Adam West IS a god!
ReplyDeleteI wish Ross drew Wonder Woman like that all the time. His usual take on her is pretty bulky.
I like the fact that West isn't smiling. he looks like he could kick somebody's ass.
ReplyDeleteThat is AWESOME! :-D
ReplyDeleteI feel sort of sorry for the guy who played the prime-time TV Flash in the early '90s, though. Overlooked again!

ReplyDeleteYeah Linda is too muscular in this shot. She really was a beanpole at the time of the show. But it's an amazing job by Ross nontheless.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I agree that the Flash got screwed by not showing up here.

ReplyDeleteOK, I'm not really that geeky, but I just bought the Flash series DVDs, so I know "the guy who played the prime-time TV Flash" was John Wesley Shipp.
ReplyDeleteCrawling back into my mother's basement now...
