Follow along and give your picks using this list! These are the books I'm buying this week.

I know, I know -- it's small pickins for me this week -- but as always, I welcome your suggestions!
Jack Staff Special #1. Britain's finest comic.
ReplyDeleteThe Flying Friar ships in some places today. But you've read that.
Gon Vol 3. Gon, the tiny T-Rex-like saur travels the world in a wordless epic awesome adventure.
Dan Dare 3. Yes, it's a very British week isn't it, might pick up a copy of 2000AD or Viz comic while I'm at it.
Wonder Woman #16
ReplyDeleteAmazing Spider-Man #548
Astonishing X-Men #24

Sorry for spamming, but I noticed the lack of the best superhero comic ever on your list, so I wanted to make sure it got some attention! lol
I'm getting Blue Beetle, Crime Bible and Countdown.
ReplyDeleteCrime Bible is reeeeallly good!
this is my sad face. SAD. i can just hear joe q. laughing maniacally. "outrage, mister bond? oh no, i think you'll find the fans...quite gullible. oh yes. spider-man WILL make a deal with the devil, & then everyone will CONTINUE TO READ IT, MWHAHAHAHAHAHA"
ReplyDeleteI hope to pick up the new version of Flying Friar. I enjoyed the black and white, think it'll make a good gift for someone (haven't decided which one I'll keep though... don't care about color, but bound is tempting...)
ReplyDeleteTeen Titans 55. I've been away from the Titans for a while now. I miss the little jerks.
ReplyDeleteAstonishing X-Men 24. Freakin' finally!
She-Hulk 25. I heart me some Peter David and some big green Shulkie.
X-Men 207. Finishing out a good but not great X-Men crossover. Which, given how crap the 90s ones were, is an improvement.
Am I the only person (not related to the creators) who is looking forward to Mice Templar #3?
ReplyDeleteI'm also expecting to get:
Marvel Zombies 2 #4
Army @ Love #11
Countdown #14
Legion Of Super Heroes #38
Superman Confidential #11 (this IS the conclusion to the Cooke/Sale arc, right?)
I'll be getting the latest Blue Beetle, She-Hulk, and Damage Control. I'd recommend all of them.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day.
G Morrow
Jesus. Busy week for moi. I'm really looking forward to one of these. Try and guess which one!

Freddy vs Jason vs Ash #4
Wonder Woman #16
Astonishing X-Men #24
Marvel Zombies 2 #4
Order Vol 2 #7
She-Hulk 2 #25
Ultimates 3 #2
World War Hulk Aftersmash Damage Control #1
Young Avengers Presents #1
. . . aaaand maybe Sword #1. I saw a preview that looked interesting on Scans Daily.
The rest of my pull list has already been mentioned by others so I will just add the super/spectacular/amazing Johnny Hiro #3, the conlusion to a suprisingly good Vertigo mini-series in Faker #6 and the always reliable Usagi Yojimbo #109.
