I've never really managed to latch onto the Batwoman issue, on account of how I thought that the character was absolutely boring, unconnected with the mythos it was borrowing from (Bats) & generally a limp fish. Now, whether or not that was editorial chicanery, okay, but from my perspective as a reader, I have to call it a big, fat, failure, one deserving of being swept under the rug. (PS I miss Cass.)
She's not a character. It was a bad call. If DC wants a Batwoman she should come from the existing cast. Someone should be given the nod and Bruce should have some crazy Bruce'ish reason for it.
I saw Batwoman just a few days ago, but when I contacted Renee Montoya about it - she wouldn't stop asking me questions!

ReplyDeleteWhat about Cass's sign? Batwoman II is still around. Batgirl III/IV has turned evil! Darn it!
