My Last Marvel/Disney Post (for now)

The "Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends" theme music is now stuck in my head for some reason. I'm serious, it's on its 100th loop right now.

  1. The music on that show was always so funky, it was awesome.

Also: Hipster Peter Parker with the turtleneck kills me every time.

  2. I like how Iceman freezes the fire monster and it becomes ice. Because that's what happens when you freeze fire: it turns into ice.

Also, I rather enjoy this show.

  3. @Ittousagi We're discussing the logic of turning a fire monster to ice. FIRE MONSTER. I think we can throw basic physics out the window with that one. :)

  7. A couple of years ago, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends was a late evening programming fixture on the Disney Channel here in Japan.

    Foreshadowing?

  8. That was such a great show. Where the hell is the Firestar movie btw? I have a daughter and want to get her into more than the iconic male heroes and the lameass female ones that make it to their own flicks. Yup, catwoman, looking at you.

Either way thx for the clip. Now it's looping in MY head.

  9. The music from the "Spider-Man" show from the same era is in my head, mainly because of that guy whiteshaft on youtube who does the parodies.

  10. Holy cow - you're right...firestar would be a perfect movie. The mean girls aspect, her father being poor and telling her to always be herself....it's almost made for, dare I say it, a Disney film. Too bad Lindsay Lohan is no good for Disney anymore.
