Doesn't the Plastic Man character need to be kind of nutty and comical? Wouldn't a Jim Carrey type be more appropriate? Not that I think the notion of a Plastic Man movie would be a big hit...
*splutter* Keanu Reeves is the most immovable human alive. Plastic Man has personality. A rather annoying personality admittedly, but still he has character. And Keanu in that suit? Eurgh.
I would prefer Plastic Man be less wacky and "funny" but instead more like how he was originally written. A cool dude with crazy powers surrounding by insanity.
It will never be done again, just like Captain Marvel will never be used right again.
Plastic? More like Cardboard Man.
ReplyDeleteNo way in hell this should happen. How can Hal Sparks not get this role?

I know it's a hacky geek answer, but I say Bruce Campbell, period. He has the look and the spirit.
ReplyDeleteOh, come on! It'll be awesome! When have the Wachowskis ever made a terrible film?
ReplyDeleteDear lord no.
ReplyDeleteIf only Bruce Campbell were 20 years younger and 40 lbs lighter.
Is this one fo the results of the supposed Warners and DC "why aint we got no good super-hero movies?" meeting?
ReplyDeleteIf so...
Yikes.

Aside from all that, I assume the Wachowskis will be using that script they wrote 20-odd years ago? :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD I loved that script.
ReplyDeletethat news would be enough to make Jack Cole kill himself, if he hadn't already.
ReplyDeletewhy do i picture Rainn Wilson as Plas?
Also, there's the Christopher Reeve effect.
ReplyDeleteHe's just so clearly identified with John Constantine that it would be disorienting to have him play . . . BWAHAHAHAHA!
Sorry, I couldn't even finish that thought with a straight internet-face.
no way man. not keanu. ed norton or RDJ on the other hand.... :)
ReplyDeleteJames Roday from the TV series "Psyche" would be a great Plas.
ReplyDeleteWe need someone who can actually express emotion in his face... definately not him!!!
