Robot 6 has an article up asking comic creators and other such folk what action figure based on a comic book character absolutely NEEDS to be made. Choices included Firestar, Guy Gardner, and Atomic Robo.
Personally, I think they should make a figure of these guys:
We already have a goat:What action figures do you think NEED to be made?
Personally, I'd like to see the Warriors Three. I'm not even sure if they made it to Heroclix-ness.
ReplyDeleteThe Pet Avengers.
ReplyDeleteThe "Golden Superman In Sun Fixing It" from All-Star Superman would make an awesome metal statuette.
ReplyDeleteDogwelder, 100%. As Wikipedia describes him "A thin, silent man in a welder's mask who spot welds dead canines to evildoers, resulting in extreme burns and general horror."
ReplyDeleteJust stupid enough to be awesome.
White Rabbit (Marvel)
ReplyDeleteSkrull Cows
Ego, The Living Planet
Pet Avengers
Reed and Sue's Wedding series
S&N Ltd Ed Marvel Creators (any creator who has appeared in a Marvel Comic)
Action figures from Marvel and DC Comics drawn by indy creators
Atomic Robo is a good choice. I'm hard pressed to think of any figures we NEED to be made, though I'd like to see a Madman figure done better. The two that have come out have been lacking.
ReplyDeleteAlso, a Grendel-Prime fig with hover-cycle would be pretty sweet.
I already have a Guy Gardner figure, and he is rockin' awesome super bad!
ReplyDeleteAside from the most recent (and worst) figure series I have every green lantern and related figure ever cast. This is why the ladies love me!
A boxed set of the original New Mutants would be snazzy. I'd love to see Maggie and Hopey get the action figure treatment, and Nexus as well. I actually have the Gen13 figures of Fairchild and Rainmaker, as well as the smaller Fairchild. Why not a set of the originals or the new versions as well?
ReplyDelete30 years ago, I would have wanted a Kitty Pryde action figure, one with removable costumes (to account for her frequent costume changes in the early days of her X-Men tenure, naturally). But I don't now of course because it would be pervy now.
ReplyDeleteActually, it would have been pervy then, too.
Wait, just thought of a serious one! Modok! And he could double as a jelly bean dispenser!
(or is that still pervy?)
Firestar has 3 figures (i think, 2 at the very least)
ReplyDeleteAnd Guy has 3 figures. Why do we need more?
Kole, Tempest, Mera, Aquagirl, and Wonder Woman villains!
ReplyDeleteDC Direct has already made two Guy Gardner figures, and Mattel has made one for their DC Infinite Heroes line.
The Levitz-era Legion. Or maybe the disco swimsuit looks, since those are the most iconic.
ReplyDeleteWhy Wolverine, of course =)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, thank you for every time you remind me of Quantum and Woody.
I second the vote for Original New Mutants, do a second series with Doug, Amara, Illyana and Warlock as well.

ReplyDeleteCareful! kitty Pryde comics can be used against you in a court of law.
G'Nort, Maxwell Lord (bwahaha version, not Blue Bettle killin' version), Willie Lumpkin, Jarvis, Black Goliath and afro wearing Monica Rambeau Captain Marvel.
ReplyDeleteHow about all of the New Warriors? You could have differing costumes for all of them, especially different armors for Night Thrasher.
ReplyDeleteDOLEMITE!
