Duchovnifornication
Back when I used to work at Acclaim Comics, the office joke was that I was koo-koo for David Duchovny. I had about twenty Duchovny pictures tacked on to my cubicle. It was a little intimidating.
So when I heard he was returning to TV in Showtime's "Californication," I was excited. Actually, with the passage of time, my Duchovny fetish had faded substantially, replaced by Spike from Buffy, an older and craggier Johnny Depp, Brian from "Family Guy," and, yes, three-dimensional people who live outside the confines of my TV screen.
So anyway, I wasn't excited excited to see Duchovny's new show. But here is the trailer:
These "Sex in the City" type shows never really do it for me, but he still looks good. The scene in the trailer with the nun offering to give him a blow job in the church reminded me why cable television is so much more sophisticated and high-quality than network programming.
